Mrs. Sara Granieri
Mathematics Teacher
Sara Granieri is a consummate professional and role model for our students. Sara is dedicated to the teaching profession and works tirelessly to serve her students. She is actively involved in extra-curricular activities; one being the Student Government Association Advisor. As advisor, she spearheaded the efforts of commemorating the 15th Anniversary of 9/11/01 through an art installation on the front lawn of the high school of 2,977 American flags, representing each individual we lost that day. The high school students were involved in the installation and maintenance of the project. The student government raised money to fund the massive initiative. The high school band and choir were involved in the ceremony, as well as the Lyndhurst Police Department, Fire Department and various community members. It was an impactful lesson for all of the high school students. Sara is an innovative and creative teacher who makes learning math fun. She is a model teacher and frequently conducts professional development workshops on best practices for district faculty. She is also a member of the ScIP. Sara is enthusiastic, passionate and truly cares about her students. She is a leader in our high school community.
Ms. Maryann Mulé
Student Assistance Counselor, Anti-Bullying Specialist
Maryann Mule is Student Assistance Counselor. Her energy and dedication to the students and faculty is outstanding. She makes students’ health and welfare her number one priority and addresses every situation with professionalism and grace. She is an advocate for a safe, supportive and inclusive school where all students are accepted and can develop socially and emotionally. Maryann collaborates with stakeholders to foster a positive school climate that respects and values the diversity of all members of the school community. She provides culturally responsive counseling activities that promote student learning and achievement. She advocates for policies and programs that promote equity, access and inclusion for all a students regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, country of origin, ethnicity, language, ability, or socioeconomic status. She also creates and implements prevention and intervention programs that are engaging and address student needs.
