Dr. Gina DiMaggio
Language Arts Teacher
Dr. Gina DiMaggio is a graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned a doctorate in education with a concentration in Curriculum, Leading, Learning, and Leadership. She also has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in English from Thomas Edison State University, where she was awarded the Arnold P. Fletcher Award of Excellence. Additionally, Gina has a certification in Motivation and Classroom Management from Laverne University. She conducts workshops both within our district and through the South Bergen Jointure to assist other teachers with best practices. During her 14-year tenure at Lyndhurst High School, she has taught AP Literature, all levels of English, SAT Prep (verbal and math), English electives, and science classes. In addition to teaching, Gina serves as the advisor for the four-season Color Guard and competition Mock Trial team, serves as a member of the Equity Steering Committee, and is a volunteer both at Lyndhurst High School and in the community. She believes in incorporating fun and equity into the classroom and uses her 20+ years of improvisation and comedy experience to allow her students to feel both welcome and inspired in her classroom!

Mrs. Anne DeForge
Media Center Specialist
Mrs. DeForge is currently the Library Technician at Lyndhurst High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at William Paterson University. After that, Mrs. DeForge spent time with her husband Mark and their two children Rachel and Samantha. She started working for the district part time in 2002 as a lunch aide and then a substitute teacher until 2015 when the media center became her permanent home.
Mrs. DeForge is the Realtime Coordinator for the district which involves assisting administration, staff and teachers with the student information system. She is the advisor for the Book Club, and Co-Advisor for The Class of 2024, and the Unified and Crochet Clubs. Mrs. DeForge is also the supervisor and facilitator for the Virtual High School program. She creates fun and educational programs for the students and staff, especially during National Library Week, Banned Books Week and Teen Read Week. She strives to make the media center a comfortable and inviting place for all. In her free time, she enjoys time in Point Pleasant with her husband and her dog, Luna.
