Philosophy:

Science is a way of thinking about and investigating the world in which we live, not purely a collection of facts and theories. Learning about science is an active, ongoing process. The goal of Science Education at Lyndhurst High School is to provide our students with well-conceived opportunities to investigate the natural world and to use those explanations to make useful predictions and applications in the real world. In order to be successful in the science classes, your child should come prepared to class with their textbook, a pen and pencil, calculator, three-ring binder, and a folder.
